According to the floor plan for booths in the currently opened Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), the layout of the 17 indoor exhibition halls has been slightly adjusted compared with that in 2014: W4/W5 design halls will still be the highlights of the exhibition, and Design of Designers (DOD) — the trade fair of designers' masterpieces will also shine in the 3# entrance hall. What's more, exhibition hall for classic furniture, especially hall N2, will become a new focus of this year. In addition, P1 parking lot near 3# entrance hall will be developed into E8 exhibition hall for office furniture; meanwhile, the wood-working machinery that used to be exhibited in Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Centre (SWEECC) will be moved into E6 exhibition hall, which may further facilitate the upstream-downstream linkage in furniture industry and enhance the competitiveness of China's furniture industry in terms of crafts and materials.
As for foreign exhibitors, national pavilions from Turkey and Australia newly added in this year besides the eight major foreign national pavilions together with over 200 international furniture brands throughout the exhibition history, promote the influence of the Furniture China event as a window for international furniture trade.
At present, the 19 outdoor exhibition halls of New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) are intensively soliciting, which is estimated to come to an end before the Spring Festival of 2015 in February. A more significant highlight will be located in the brand-new Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Centre (SWEECC), which will bring more surprises to both exhibitors and visitors.
